Teje-Teje is a non-profit civil non-governmental association with domicile in the department of Magdalena, Colombian Atlantic Coast. Since our creation in August 2005, we are committed to the preservation of the environment and the sustainable development of indigenous and non-indigenous communities in the country.
We provide services and advice for the implementation of projects that promote solidarity and respect for human dignity and result in the personal and cultural growth of communities; the improvement of the standard of living; and the preservation and environmental recovery.
In all our actions, we apply the Association's methodology built on the experience of the work team. Our method addresses the intervened communities in a participatory and comprehensive manner. It has as a cross-cutting axis the cultural recovery from the different work areas, such as community organisation, training in the potential of each group, empowerment, development sustainable, food autonomy and improvement of the quality of life.
