One of the main goals for the Puinave people was to foster their knowledge of the land they inhabit, including the places where traditional activities take place (fishing, hunting, growing …). This benefits also for their crafts, which based on raw materials that exist in unidentified places in the forest.

We have advanced with the communities a methodology to produce ecological calendars, intended to serve as the basis to organize, in time and space, the activities related to the crafts and the sustainable and autonomous use of their resources.
