Where can I take the IELTS exam in Ecuador?

You can take the English IELTS Academic or IELTS General training, IELTS UKVI and IELTS Life Skills exams in Quito with the British Council in paper-based or computer-delivered format.

How much does the IELTS exam cost in Ecuador?

What should I bear in mind to register for the IELTS English test in Ecuador?

• Your IELTS Ecuador speaking exam can be taken on the same day as the other sections or during a week before or after the date you have selected for your written exam.
• Spaces are assigned according to the order of registration, so we recommend registering at least five weeks in advance.
• Once the seats have been filled for an examination date, it will no longer appear in the online registration system.
• Before registering, read our terms and conditions.
• Your results will be available 13 calendar days after the date of the written IELTS Ecuador exam and will be sent by certified mail to the facilities of our partner centre in Quito. Keep in mind that the shipment can take between two to three business days to reach the destination. 
• If you take IELTS on computer, your results will arrive typically within 1 day. Please note that your results may come a bit later (you may have to wait up to 5 days). This happens when we need to confirm your ID or check your score is correct.
• Confirmation of the IELTS Ecuador exam: Between 7 and 3 business days prior to the date you have selected for your written exam, you will receive a notification in your email with the dates, venue and time, both of your interview and of the other components.
