From March 28th to the 31st, the British Council in Colombia was invited to contribute with a traditional Misal Cuisine event at the closing of the project “Improving the Misak people’s capacity to carry out their Strategy for the Post-conflict period in Colombia,” led by GIZ, at the Gran Trueque Pro-Paz event (Great Pro-Peace Barter).

The CH4IG also facilitated the participation of 4 representatives of the Ette-Ennaka people during the Pro-Paz Misak cultural week, to strengthen and disseminate knowledge of traditional cuisine, traditional medicine, crafts and woodcarving of musical instruments.

There were over 2,000 participants (coming from different Misak territories). There was coverage on 8 Cauca local stations.
